We worked at a barn for a few years with a coverall riding arena...it
was nice to ride in......The issue for her was not putting in good
fencing around the sides where the building comes down to meet the
footings...so she never let her horses in there without being ridden.

I would want to make sure they could not gain access to the
sides....a nice pipe rail would work nicely on the 2 sides where the
walls come down.....if you get one make sure and situate it so that
you either have the walls blocking your wind or not, depending on
your needs....it is nice and light inside, the lighting was great,
and the ceiling is very very high....very expansive and dry.
