Well, I know my horse talks to me all the time. I am with so many
horses each week that others owned and they usually have a lot to say
as well.

Skyfaxa talks with me, she is pretty happy, would like to spend a
little more time on grooming....and she is still upset that Foss is
no longer here. When we brought her back from the brood mare pasture
she looked for him for hours and hours and called for him...I creid
as I had not thought about how she would feel about him not being
here, only that it would be easier for me.

Trausti, well he is a new little soul on this planet, and he just
wants my attention and wants to have fun, canter and eat grass...and
play with me

My little stud colt, DynFari, well he was connected to me
instantly....he is a shoulder for me lean on, he seems to have been
around before..he loves his digs and his herd......

Dis, well, she is a quiet one, and being a brood mare so far has
suited her well.

Bylgia, she is a quiet one too, and has stated to us she wants to
continue to be a brood mare....we could see the happiness in her
whole body.

Elska, Bylgias filly, well she is a little precious soul, just
exploring every little nuaince of life and wanting to explore and not
be pushed...

When Foss was here he was my go to guy, I would stand or sit and hang
with him for hours just talking, grooming, having fun......I do miss
him....he was upset for awhile, but his new life with 2 other stud
colts in a larger space is suiting him fine. When he first got
trailered to his new spot he just went to the gate to try to go home,
and when I came over he turned his butt to me and walked off...then
he would come over....but, he is now very happy where is is, and
walks right up to the truck to get a treat when I pull in....he is
relaxed.

Some of them that I have met seem pretty tired, but they really just
want comfort, to have their needs taken care of without hauling
someone around for hours and hours.....some of them are fortunate to
get that.....

Some seem not to say much, why even bother I guess. Some are
screaming out for help, a change.....you can see in their that some
of them really want to trust, want that connection with people even
though people have treated them badly.....

I carry on long conversations with all my animals and other peoples
too....Sally is amazed at times....but my animals are pretty happy
and relaxed with me and the other animals in our group...even our
Jacks, people comment on how calm and happy they seem....I just take
their needs in account and do my best to provide it.

Elska, Bylgias filly is 10 months old, and we had not really even
been able to touch her......I will tell you why, as it was not
because we did not want to...

Her last filly was born premature at a friends house (we did a brood
mare lease with them) anyway there was a terrible storm that killed
several cows and their babies, Bylgia was fine...bu when she had the
filly, she had no milk....so our friends took the filly away from her
and tried to nurse them themselves....Bylgia could not see or hear
her newborn...the filly died at day 4......Soooooo

This time Bylgia would not allow anyone human to come near her or her
new baby....Sally could lead her, so could I, but we could not get
near the baby.......she would circle around her and lead her off in
another direction....we have been very gentle with her, and she has
been coming up to us and sniffing....but her mom taught her to be
careful around humans, and I understand why.

Anyway, we brought her back home about a month ago, with hopes of
getting a little further with her...and I have been letting Sally do
it...anyway, Sally got a little frustrated and handed over the
project with me....in 10 minuets I was able to get her to accept and
like and enjoy being scratched...now we can walk up to her in a
certain way and do that......we did not want her to have fear of
humans...but with talking with her one on one I was able to do that,
body language, psychic energy, a combination of whatever you want to
call it, horses respond well to it.....

I know horses have a lot to say if people would only listen.
