Karen, I remember Falki and Skjoni - they arrived just
a couple of days after Hnisa's arrival into my hands
from Northern California. And, I remember thinking
then just how fortunate I was (and still am!) to have
been placed into the hands of Judy and Linda when I
bought Hnisa, my very first horse.

There is nothing that anyone can say or do to take
their heroine status away.

As far as I know, Judy's place is unhurt - her home is
quite close to the local high school and it is
unscathed.

I did get an email just a bit ago from Linda. Her
home is gone, but listen to this... with her
unfathomable loss, she took the time to let me know
that the tack shed is still standing, but she taken my
saddle with her when they evacuated. This
selflessness is unrivaled.

To use an overused word these days, anyone who knows
these ladies is BLESSED. I would gladly kick the butt
of anyone who tried to tell me different.

Love, Gail
