This is Palomino Valley, actually in Sparks, NV. It is North East of Reno by about 60 miles. There are several Endurance rides there every year. And the wind isn't constant - only prior to a front coming thru does it get bad. When I met Josh, I knew he was one of those special horse trainers. And he mostly starts or re-starts mustangs as the major BLM holding facility is down the road from him, so a lot of people bring him their $125 horses. He is a mule man, tho and thinks the best horse is a mule! He also loves driving and will be holding a driving clinic next July that I plan on going to. He has started 5 other Icelandics, and gave me the other Icelandic owner's name and phone # for me to call if I wanted.
