My tack shed is one of those that a local guy builds on site. I believe it is 8 x 12 with one window and a large door. I think it was $1500 total. It has shingles, but I have yet to paint it (me bad). The run-in shed, a place in Carson City makes and you buy it pre-assembled. I think I paid $1200 for it. It measures 12 x 12 x 12. It would have cost me $900 for all the wood to make the same shed - only to have the horses chew it down with-in another 5 years - I don't think so!!! I found both of these in our local Big Nickel paper. I can take pics tomorrow after I get home - I am at my second job hanging out in my motel room. Gotta earn money for the horses! Plus, I'm expecting 3 stacks of hay any day (4 ton stacks). Hence, the reason for my second job!
