My half-Arab mare, Midnight, and I have had our differences in the past. She was laid up all summer with a leg injury so I haven't been on her since July. I have been working with her on the ground with a little clicker training since the accident though.
I have had a mental/nervous problem with Midnight I don't have with my Icelandic, Deacon. He can really be a brat sometimes and I am fine so I don't know why I am nervous with Midnight. All weekend I was driving to lower MI and back and I visualized having an uneventful ride on Midnight. Tonight I saddled her up and hopped on. We just walked, but it felt good to just be relaxed with her.
