I wondered that too, Laree, but it looks like it attached to a normal
bridle, where you would normally attach a bit...?  So, would it depend on
the design of the bridle you use it with?  I'm seriously interested in
looking at these.  We like to use bits with our young horses at least part
of the time - I want them exposed to whatever life may eventually throw
their way, while they are here and I can supervise.  But, I also like to
ride without a bit too.  Anyway, I'm interested in anything that easily and
cost-effectively allows me to ride both ways.   These look economical, if
they work well.
