and when you tried to stop him, you know a lot of horses try to "run through" pressure, and a lot of horses are trained to go faster when you bring the reins in tight. Hard to believe, but you hear it often. With walking horses, a lot of the time they learn they are supposed to gait fast if you take all the slack out of the reins! Janice yipie tie yie yo
