I asked the trainer-friend , who raises and rides Arabian endurance horses, and who is working with Tosca , if she would cover all the basics of good horse behavior, including clipping and going into the wash rack. That was Tosca's first lesson. Our sturday hairy little pony now has about a five inch bridle path! I suppose the ability to be body clipped at some future date is a lot more important in Tosca's future than the temporary Arab hair style, but she looks a little silly.
