Mac was exactly like you described Fox - very gentle around little things - small children, puppies, kittens, foals, and he was the perfect lead-line pony...well, except that he was 15.3H, making it hard for a side-walker to balance a little kid. He was the herd leader during his years here, but a very benevolent one, always concerned that his herd was safely in his watch. Anyway, I think about Mac when people are desperately looking for an under 12H pony for a leadline candidate for their kids or grandkids.
