We have Nelson waterers and absolutely love them. They save an
enormous amount of time and are so easy to keep clean. You can get them with
a
gauge that tells you how much water the animal drinks. I have found this
useful
only for the ones in my stalls. We have them in the pastures and they do not
freeze. We did purchase the ones with a heater just in case it gets really
cold. Here in NC we only have to use them a few weeks in the winter. We
also have a generator because here we tend to get ice storms and our power
company has been known to not get the electricity back on for up to 2 weeks.
Out
of everything we have ever purchased for the barn/pastures these waterers
have been the absolute best purchase ever.
