In one week, we went out once with a group of endurance riders and he was pretty darned silly when we first met up with them. Then we went out with a woman we ride with a lot and a new friend, an older lady who has some real fear and is very timid. Hunter practically did a hesitation step coming downhill to go slowly enough for them. Then, on Friday, we led Tosca out on her first trail ride. It's taken a while, but he has learned that there's a time and a place for everything, as my mother used to tell us.
