Good question, yes Fylla is adorable, our solid mount that Sally
retrained.......in our immediate area, Kapoho, the horses manes
become brittle and break off ...when they live elsewhere, they do
not.....we have tried to figure out what it is, but without
results...it happens in other breeds to, shorter more brittle manes
and forelocks.....
Our Stallion Foss, who we sold a few months back, same thing
too....as well as the babies, if they live in this area only....when
I send pics of the babies in our Ka'u pasture you will notice that
the manes are long, lush and beutiful.....I wish we could figure it
out...it used to drive us mad, but now, we are almost resigned.....
