my gosh its not just the color, she has teevs pretty head shape and
his sturdy build I think. I asked teev and he said its ok if you name
her after him btw. i wonder what gait she is prone too with those
long back legs and short front but heavy chest? Tivar is prone to
trot with the long back legs and short front but he has a long LONG
body, hers is much shorter. I think Liz described it as he had a back
end perfect for a rw but a front end so shortlegged there would be no
way he could get out of the way of his own back legs. He can be
foxtrotty but his default relaxed gait is a beautiful smooth and easy
trot. do you have any ideas about her conformation and gait Karen? i
swear yesterday Tivar racked again. The horse in front of us took off
at a fast canter and he trotted faster and faster and then cantered
and then dropped out of it into is high headed gait that feels like he
is cross country skiing :) then he stumbled and scared the c*** outa
both of us and slowed to a walk and didnt even care at all when she
went out of sight,. The lady riding behind me on a tall long legged
thoroughbred said "thank you! I was getting scared it was so fast!"
and i was thinking to myself, wow, tivar has scared an off track
thoroughbred with his lightning furious blistering speed haha but he
stumbled going into a sharp curve so it was hardly the place for
speed.
