We get a lot of foxes here too, so we have fenced off an area of about a quarter acres for the chickens, with stock fence and electric. They are shut into a foxproof wooden house at night. If you only have a few, just a small area is fine as a run for them - say, about 10 x 15ft for 3 or 4 chooks.
