As I - slowly- learn more about gaits, I realize that Hunter's previous owner, who described him as naturally gaited, was telling it straight. The only gaits I have not have him produce are a hard pace (thank you Jesus) and a hand gallop. He has a lovely rocking horse canter, but will not gallop.
