Thanks for everyone who gave feedback about the subject, I just needed to hear
it was okay to use lighter horses for the job without anyone having any
setbacks. I mentioned ringbone since I have seen so many drafts who do heavy
work on farms around here get it and they aren't riding horses, only work on
fields and farms and I didn't want to set my horses up for that outcome. I want
to be able to ride them till the cows come and they feel good all their lives
or as much as I can help them to feel good. I wont be starting until after the
holidays so when I do I'll try and post some of my attempts at starting this by
small steps in pics. and see where it takes us. Jeannette
