Let me see....if I were looking for a horse, I'd want to see it do some nice running walk....or some of the 'soft' gaits. I wouldn't want to see any paciness at liberty. I'd want my horse to have a good trot as well. A nice trot will help to keep their back healthy between the gaiting parts... Somewhere I have a video of my daughter and I starting her gelding last winter. He slid into a nice 'gait' almost immediately. He was young and green but you could still tell there was lots of gait in there just waiting to bubble out. Wanda
