Thank you, Robin. She is growing into her high rump.
She is still rather straight in the stifle, slightly
sickle hocked and I am told, has a rear-end too small
to ever win a gait show. Because her rear is small, I
am told she cannot drive well. I never wanted to show
anyway so that is fine with me. I just want her sound
so we can trail ride together. I am blessed though,
she has a fabulous temperament. My trainer said he
would buy her if I did not want her so his son could
have a safe horse to ride. She has only been under
saddle since August.
I appreciate the advice on exercises. No more lunging
around poles.
I would love to visit your daughter's farm. How far
away is it from Southern CA. Does she offer trail
rides? Would she have a safe horse for my daughter to
ride?
