I was surfing through the channels this morning looking for a movie, and came across the children's Saturday morning cartoon called "Horseland" on CBS. And of course I had to watch it. HA!
It's really cute, set in a barn, all the animals talk, including the horses. Today's show was called "The Horse Whisperer". Molly had filmed a documentary on Sarah, the horse whisperer in the barn,; Sarah was trying to train Diablo a stunning black rebellious horse, who will be sold if he does not get "trained". In the end Molly (dressed in her cute hunt suit) is offered a junior news anchor job which she turns down. Why... because working at the station cuts into her riding time. Anywho, the girls are cute (about 14-15 yrs old) , the horses are adorable and the main dog Shep is very wise. Scarlett is the boss mare, she's a beautiful Arab mare. There is a Kiger Mustang on the show, but I don't think he is gaited. It's based on the board game called Horseland and the Sims game Horseland. http://www.horseland.com/ What a great cartoon for young girls who love horses! The best thing about this ...is the Horseland was created by a 14 yr old girl obsessed with horses.
