What made it uncomfortable? The seat or the way it sat you or the placement of the stirrups? > We both tried Amber Applegate's Watson distance > runner > http://www.rlwatsonsaddles.com/distance%20runner.htm > and liked it. << Problem is is can't be "changed" for different horses. > I will probably demo both the Watson and the > Sensation.<< I have the original trail model of the Sensation. I tried the western and the hybrid and hated them both. It's amazing how little differences can affect one person so much, and then Karen in NC likes all the models. I am picky, tho, because I have to be comfortable for more than 5 miles, and I knew the other 2 models would irritate the bejeesus out of me after about the 6th mile. Short distances are one thing, but, as you know, start going the longer distances and comfort is utmost to you and the horse. Whisper is giving me indications that I need to get something with more support for longer distances. So far, Andi is liking the Sensation, but he is only going 5 miles in 1 1/2 hours so far.
