i know i am harping on that show i saw on travel channel, but one thing was so funny to me! The almost naked natives were all in the hut cooking and the man was outside, he was stroking and petting his horse until the horse seemed actually in some sort of trance and the man is talking to it in their language and would just lovingly stroke his face, cover his eyes, lean and whisper to him, stroke his sides, the horse is just standing there in a stupor of relaxation. The tribe woman runs out side and in her language she is screeching WOYWIKYWKLHW>KIUTTUK!! and underneath they have these subtitles and it says "Solomon, you come inside, you die from no food, you not care for children and family you only love horse" and he yells back IUTYTEKJTGL:Y:"POYUO"YU and underneath the subtitles say "no man ever died from petting his horse!" and she screeches IUTEUYRTEWUTW and the subtitles say "Soloman you come in now and eat food, visit family" and he shouts angrily at her KIYEUITLETLEIUY and underneath it says "you go, a man needs to be with his horse!". And he won the big race!
He won because when they got to the beach part he chose the hard sand next to the water and the horse was able to go faster, and the ones who chose soft sand because they wanted to fall onto a soft spot if they were thrown, lost. see?!? There is a great equestrian life lesson there. not sure exactly what it is... exactly, something to do with loving your horse will help you win a race and loving your horse will make him so reliable you can win because you wont have to take a slower way because you are worried of falling. something like that. but YEAH SCOOTER ROCKS!! you GO scooter.... janice -- yipie tie yie yo
