if i win the lotto I will buy him or some other Lettir offspring.
Stali made a believer out of me when it comes to Lettir offspring! My
God how that horse suffered and never ever ONCE even CONSIDERED
refusing anything I asked. He followed so obediently into the trailer
even when i knew it took every ounce of strength and willingness he
had just to stay on his feet, and responded so lovingly to me, a total
stranger, when his head must have been killing him from dehydration as
he lay dying. I am telling you Robyn, I was reeling with admiration
for the breeding that went into that horse, for you and Annaleise. he
was really REALLY something, just very very special... I had
contacted the woman who originally trained him to ride and drive at
age 4.5 and she could say nothing but good about his willingness and
talent. She had never worked with an icelandic before but said he did
an awesome range of easy gaits and was one of the smartest, most
easily trained horses she had ever had the pleasure to work with. She
said he had been the barn "star" that year. he was incredibly smart.
