I live east of Stockton/south of Sacramento a ways (not far from Barbara
Owens) and we are not getting much rain now, but the wind is something else.
It is still too dark to see much out there, but I'm sure that everything
that wasn't firmly attached is now blown away (and we probably have a fine
assortment of things blown in from other places). We live on a ridge and
really get pounded when the wind picks up. I bet that we lose power soon.
The guys didn't quite finish the roof on our new house yesterday so I wonder
how that is holding up (and the rest of the house). We are snug enough in
our little barn apartment.
