when we moved, Jaspar, herd leader, was in a SNIT about it. The first
day I remember them standing at the gate at sundown staring at me like
HEY, when are we going home. After about three days jaspar got MAD.
The others seemed a little lost and would hover behind him while he
would snake his head and race around all mad. But it was an inferior
place. we had no grass at the time and the paddocks were put up
hastily and were small. We rushed getting a large pasture ready,
fenced, it had only weeds and all but they seemed really happy with
some turnout. They say it takes a full range of all four seasons for
a horse to feel like he is home. I think I got Tivar around the time
you got Orri and thats why I remember it. Tivar is very very settled
here now.
