I think it's built for more "normal" shaped horses - a lot of Arabs seem to be doing well > in it on the endurance circuit, but most Icelandic's simply aren't built > like most Arabs.
Good point, Karen. Mary is riding "true" endurance on her sweet little mare - 75 and 80 miles and five day multi-days, but her mare is built so different from Tosca that they may as well be two different species. I love them both, but of course it's Tosca I need to fit a saddle to, not someone else's lovely, lean, high withered Arab. Nancy
