I think any are probably fine for music. But, if you like videos, I wouldn't go with the iTouch or the Nano - videos eat memory. I have a 30G "Classic" - now replaced by the 80G and 160G models. I keep it in my purse and pull it out to watch little videos anytime I'm waiting for an oil change, for the dentist, whatever. I love it. I have about 12-15 full DVDs (converted to .mp4 files with a separate package) and about 400 songs on mine, and am using about 10-12G. I think the iTouches only have maybe 8G of memory and cost more.
