Dagur is to the point where he's getting quite confident...but we've
taken it VERY slow with him.  I believe Cara has him to the point
where the fat old mamma (me) could begin working with him.

I agree.  He's not very forgiving, not because he's mean....he's just
the type that simply must know that he's doing the right thing...and
must know it in the very moment he's wondering about it.  Clicker
training helped us get past a sticky point a couple of weeks ago (when
it was decently warm)...once he had the concept...he was fine.  Silly
us...he didn't know he could move forward without me supporting them.
Once he realized he could move with Cara riding ... when I was across
the ring...he was fine.  I'm looking forward to working with him
again.  He's very willing.  We always leave him wanting more...
