The veterinary critical center called to let us know Sammie died this morning. We're very VERY sorry that the vibrant little Jack Russell would die in such a violent way.
We were beginning to doubt the wisdom of asking her to continue this fight. There was just so much trauma. So in one way, we're glad she's through suffering and being afraid, but man. This is hard. Nancy
