I remember Lee Ziegler herself saying several times that it's often
impossible to be certain what gait is happening from a single picture,
particularly if the gait is captured in one of the "classic" phases that
gait's known for - for instance, the single foot phase of rack is much
easier to discern rather than it's two-foot support phases. I
point-blank asked Liz Graves once, if you are confused by what you see
in a particular still shot of a horse, versus what you feel from the
saddle, which would you go by, and she said, she'd depend on the feel
from the saddle.

So, with that in mind, Nancy, can you describe how Hunter feels from the
sadddle? I believe you've called him "multi-gaited", right? If so, I
guess you feel different sensations at different gaits? I'd love to see
more videos and or still shots of him in action. :)

I'm curious, does everyone know what a pace or stepping pace feels like?
The footfalls will sound a lot like the foxtrot, so you can't bank on
the sound to distinguish the two.

BTW, I appreciate your willingness to send pics and videos of your
horses for us to look at - I feel sure everyone gets tired of seeing my
horses all the time. :)
