I've owned 14.1-ish-H Holly (TWH) for almost 19 years, 14.2 1/2H Thunder (Arab) for a little longer. I owned 14.1 1/2H Cruise Control (QH) for seven years, and I've owned almost 14-year-old MustangxQH Gracie, 14.1 1/2H, since she was weaned. I'm 15H in my bare feet. I probably have an ingrained measuring stick in my brain to instantly discern those horses in the 14-14.2H range - afterall, I stood outside the hunter shows holding officially-measured "horse" Thunder for many years, and 14.2H is just under my eye level. There simply aren't many 14H+ Icelandics! Robyn had a couple that probably were over14H, and I've seen another one or two, but by Icelandic standards, Thunder would probably measure 15.3H! .
