I drove home in it yesterday, no school here in SE MN because of the wind chill, I got all the way to school and they canceled it when I was in the parking lot, I was not really happy about that... I suspect parents had a lot of kids up and dressed for the bus, when they announced that school would be closed, we were 2 hours late, which we all had to find out this morning, every other school made this decision the night before, but not our town.... I did not really understand the last minute decisions!
Last night when I came home, I was driving in a mini snow tornado... I got semi stuck in the snow right at the intersection of a busy country road, right before I got home, I could not see a dang thing... so scary... I backed up, said a Protect me please prayer and gave my little care some gas, I was so proud of my little Yaris, it just dropped down into the snow and pulled me through, I opened my window thinking it would help, NOT, I just got covered in snow, it was swirling around me, then into the car, but, once up on the county Hyway, I could see just fine... I made it home in a couple more minutes... but, I know what you are saying, there were many cars in two separate pileups, and 2 of the Freeways were CLOSED in our area...
