Oh do I remember! I had to go to a beauty parlour and find dye remover and his leg ended up looking more like clay than white. I think I rode in 5 WC and I have to say that it was great fun - an international event where you could reconnect with people who lived far away and meet new people. I didn't like what lots of people did to their horses but for the most part the group was different from most horse show people. Pretty much every rider takes care of their own horse - cleaning, grooming and making sure that they could be out on pasture as much of the time as possible.
