We introduced Gat to the mirror while she was on lead, unmounted and she was very curious--like 'who's that?'...she sniffed the mirror, swivelled her ears and I think finally figured it out. After Alex mounted they both looked in the mirror and Gat seemed curious about their reflection but calm about it. When I introduced Orri he acted like a dog sniffing, curious, perky trying to understand why he could see another horse, but when he looked down there were no feet below the mirror--he'd look up again, then down, then up and then down, gave up and snuffled it all over. Cute to watch. No spookiness but I think he was starting to get frustrated that it wasn't really another horse he could play with. V
