Our 25-30 year old B&G macaw does that too. He was wild-caught. I always suspected there is something about the sound that reminds him of his home in the jungle - maybe it sounds like a waterfall to him...? He loves the noises and flashes of a thunderstorm - odd to us, since so many dogs don't like storms. It's really sad to think that he was taken from the rainforest as a young bird. He was about 12-15 years old when we got him though, and once they are here, someone has to care for them. Karen Thomas, NC
