John, go back and read my doggone post. I ASKED if anyone has strongly
gaited horses who are competing in endurance. Have I ever, even once,
vaguely claimed to have any experience with endurance riding? Ever, even
once in any context? No. It's not even on my list of things to do. The
sport simply doesn't interest me.

But...If I remember the last line in Penny's post, she asked if anyone had a
horse to sell this woman, who apparently lives on the east coast. I have
bred some Icelandics and I SHOULD sell a few. But, I've bred for sensible,
sane trail horses with relatively strong gait. Where you assume that I'm
making a statement, I seriously wanted to clarify my thinking. I most
certainly have never bred for "endurance prospects", but if someone were to
approach me about buying a horse for that job - as someone did approach
Penny - I need to know more than I know. I seriously do NOT think I have a
horse that I'd consider selling that is an endurance prospect....for various
reasons.

So, I'll ask the question again. How many strongly gaited Icelandic's are
competing in endurance? To clarify, I remind you that someone initially
referenced a couple of YouTube videos of "show-tolting" Icelandic's - high
stepping, single-foot racking/tolting at speed. Does anyone compete in
endurance doing most of their riding at gait? If so, what gaits?
