Mine tells me when to go to bed. Goodnight. Cheerio, See you in.. at 10pm until I give up and go to bed. The best phrase is 'Mum, Are you alright?' He says it in the sweatest little voice when I lie on the sofa. He also says 'Do you want a kiss?, Do you want some (food)?, Do you want to come out?' Messed up again..when I play a wrong note on the piano. He sings, laughs like a drain, talks in 'monster' voice, dances. Hangs upside down on my hand (looks like a drawstring purse). Kisses and kuddles me till my nose is white like talcum powder. Plays ball with table tennis balls or plastic golf balls. He prefers those little cat balls with the bell in. He can hold them better because of the holes and then throw them. They only last a day because he eats them. He is getting braver now with the clicker game. He flies over to his perch, bows and clicks to start the game. There is no end to his conversations. I once heard him say ' no, I'm doing f**k all this weekend, no, not next weekend either, I'm on a course'. All week he kept on that he was 'on a course'.I'm glad he lost the swearing. He does say 'Oh, s**t'when he drops something in his cage. He used to make a sound like stones dropping into a bowl of water. I soon stopped going into the toilet with him on my shoulder. He makes all sorts of other bodily sounds though. Greys are fascinated by any sounds. Sometimes even distant sounds like a train miles away. He is learning to play piano at the moment by walking on the keys. trouble is he keeps eating the music. Sue UK
