I just don't understand why people aren't learning from it.  See where
other's have gone before and not go there.  We still have people
thinking it's fine to 'balance' a gait with weights (to name one
example)...they don't see that as a mechanical device at all.  Why is
that?

AND I'm not talking about show people here, I'm talking about the
ordinary owners that are having their horses trained with some of
these savage guru's...and thinking it's just fine.

If you pay $10,000 for a horse and bring it home, and change it's
shoes or pull them, and your horse suddenly loses his 'tolt'...chances
are he's had a mechanical breakdown....  I don't know, maybe I'd feel
like I'd been had...and just keep going down that path because I
wouldn't want to admit that I was that naive...
