The AERC convention is this weekend in Reno. As usual, it will have a great tradeshow and excellent speakers on various horse welfare and riding topics. I will still be putting on the two early morning Hot Topics workshops and will emcee the regional awards presentation as well as attend board and committee meetings. Still, I won't be nearly as busy as the past couple of years, so I will have more to visit. Is anybody on this list going? If so, let me know if you want to get together. John Parke Solvang CA
