Wow. Thanks for that Judy. I just read 'Riding With Confidence' and there was a section that was definitely against handfeeding. It had rocked my confidence a bit and I don't know why. I feel like a secret horse treater. This video shows hand feeding a vitamin pellet which was reassuring. I also have DVD 'Playing With Horses..Ideas for joyful learning' by Jutta Weimers she uses a vocal bridge and feed. I'm back to being ok with it now. I supose the real problem is what to say to the critics and if something goes wrong it will be the hand feeding of course. Sue UK
