Do you think a swishing tail always means resistance? The jury is still out for me. I know that a tight back and wringing tail can mean resistance or tenseness but is it always a negative thing. Is it sometimes a balance thing or a concentration thing? Sometimes I see horses with the swishing tail and I get more of an impression of concentration - like when I grab my lip with my teeth if I'm concentrating doing something that is a little harder - would that always be a bad thing in a horse?
