Maybe because I'm a professional "rigger"? :) I don't really know except that I love my Sensations so when I saw that it fit, I didn't bother to take it off. I don't know that there's anything wrong with the Phantom seat - who knows, I might like it just as well or even better. I haven't tried the "right" seat yet. Karen Thomas, NC
