Karen, I have pictures and a map on my signature line. Jammie Jackson
has a great book about the benefits of the track system, he calls it a
pasture paradise... There is a link and another track system on Joe
Camps site.

I have taken what Jammie wrote about and applied it to my property, I
have not read his book, I took what others said about it, the book is
on my list of thigs to read, but for not the track I have created
works for us!

If you have the time to ride, 20 miles to keep them in great shape,
mentally and physically, than that is GREAT, I don't, and even if I
did, the amount of time they are in the drylot, was to much for them
mentally, I love the track system, it keeps them moving and
emotionally and physically fit... Do I wish I had more property, yes,
but at the moment I don't, this is working fine... their hooves are
showing great wear and they are in good physical shape for this time
of year, will they need to be conditioned, of course they will, but
they look better then they did when I did not have the tracks... do I
spread hay every time we feed? NO, cause winters and wind don't always
allow that, but I spread it enough to keep them thinking there might
be hay out on the track... which is what it is all about.. MOVEMENT...

I and my horses love our track system!!!
