We can ride through Thompson Creek and do, but we don't go into the pond.
It's not very big and the footing around it isn't good. The dogs enjoy
taking a dip though.

I have always liked a French link snaffle, but some time before I bought him
this horse had a nasty injury to his tongue and I never found a bit he was
happy in. He does fine in this arrangement, but it is not a training bit.
He probably would do just as well in any bitless bridle. Guess I could
experiment.
