I am like you.  I use the predators but some come in from the neighborhood.  I 
have found The Advantage Flying Insect Traps work the best.  The are commercial 
grade.  You have to dump them from time to time but they work real well.  I use 
them for flies and yellow jackets.  Look them up on the internet.
