the website says the straps go around the billet straps of the saddle. Anybody have one of these packs?
I do and I love it. I ride in a dressage saddle that I had outfitted with dee rings for trail riding. I attach the straps to my billets and it works great. As a matter of fact, when I was in Iceland herding sheep this past fall I ended up selling it to one of the Icelanders who really liked it and I had to buy another one when I got home. It stays put nicely for me, doesn't bounce, and never bothers my mare. I had bought several other types before this, never liked any of them, and was very pleased to finally be able to donate all the other ones to a local horse rescue facility.
