Don't be coy, now, Janice.  :)  I know you have Lee's book, I know you've 
been on the gaited horse list for ages, and I've seen you at two Liz 
clinics.

What are the components that define gait?   I can think of three - maybe 
there are more.

One would be the sequence and pairing that the feet pick up in each phase of 
the gait.  One would be the sequence and pairing of the feet as they 
touch-down - called the set-down.  The other phase would be the number of 
supporting legs at the different phases of the gaits.

Is that enough to define one gait from another?  Did I miss anything?
