*nod* i use riding pants for more or less the same purpose, but i prefer those as they are much easier to wash, and don't add the possible complications such as slippage and girthing issues.... why then a bareback pad as oppposed to riding pants? (even full-seat pants i guess if you wanted LOTS of traction -- i have a pair of tights like that :) --vicka
