Oh, my, god. That issue is dated 2008?!? That is a horrible example of non-equitation and non-horsemanship. Man, he's 28 I think this year - I heard his age once and he's the same age as my daughter, so they would have been pony-club/4H peers had they been in the same country. I am SO glad that someone who would never have allowed either that chair seat, or that saddle placement taught my daughter. I think if I saw Emily riding like that even now I'd be tempted to build a woodshed, simply to have one to take her behind to spank her butt! Holar graduate? So what? Every 4-H kid I've ever met knows better than that. I'm just speechless that the USIHC allowed that ridiculous picture to be printed. Who's the editor that let that go in...?
