*laughs* no pleasing everyone!  i don't like the way the "lifted"
stirrups feel; the leathers seem to end up in a twisted lump under my
thighs, and if we're going faster than a walk i don't like to see the
irons banging on the horse's shoulders.  but as short as my legs are
anyway, the "fixed stirrups" pretty much don't move more than half an
inch or so when i drop them.
